The Chief Executives of New York’s leading nonprofit organizations have been gathering at unique INPEx dinner forums this past year to break bread, share insights and discuss the challenges they face as leaders of the nonprofit community. "It is a precious opportunity to share my experiences - both good and troublesome - with peers who know what it is like to walk in my shoes" says one repeat attendee.

The New York Dinner Forums are an extension of the seminar work INPEx has done for over twenty years with more than 5,500 organizations globally. The dinner forums, INPEx seminars and consulting services are designed to provide the right atmosphere, advice and tools for nonprofits to learn, grow and succeed at their missions.
With one nonprofit organization for every 203 people in our country today, charities face enormous competition for resources. The Institute for Nonprofit Excellence has provided charities worldwide the keys to greater financial viability, sustainability and enhanced service delivery. INPEx seminars have enabled organizations globally to better accomplish their missions to serve more people. To watch a seminar video click HERE

A typical INPEx-schooled organization (based upon research conducted since 1990), after just one year, will see a 22% increase in public support, a 32% increase in clients served and a 39% increase in the Board's perception of its ability to fulfill its obligations.
MBSA has joined forces with the Institute for Nonprofit Excellence, (INPEx) to help charitable organizations become more attractive investments in the eyes of the funding community.
Anyone who has been associated with a nonprofit organization as a director, volunteer or employee understands that their charity's future depends upon the board and staff's ability to build organizational capacity in the face of stiff competition.
The institutes have worked since 1989 as a win-win-win proposition for attending organizations from every state in the US, as well as in Great Britain, Europe and the Far East. The attendees have seen their governance strengthened, their focus on missions clarified, visions brought into the realm of reality, sound business practices instilled and most important, more clients served. We know that no one leaves an Institute without taking away at least one and usually many valuable lessons and tools that can be immediately applied. We know this to be true because after having trained nearly 25,000 individual nonprofit leaders, never once on a session or technical assistance analysis and feedback form, has an attendee or client indicated they were dissatisfied. On the flip side, numerous attendees at each institute will indicate the training and sessions were the most worthwhile they have ever experienced. The results speak for themselves:
| Averaged Survey Results For All Institutes for Nonprofit Excellence from 1989-2006 |

We expose nonprofit leaders to new ideas for solving problems, new tools and techniques for improving board performance, ways to enhance fund-raising results, approaches for improving organizational alignment and marketing and much more. The opportunity to share experiences and perspective with other executives, leaders and facilitators is an added bonus.
Whether it is through individual coaching, small group discussion sessions, project facilitation, large group training opportunities or one-on-one technical assistance, the focus of all Institute offerings is on enhancing the "fundability" of the organizations served. The Institute faculties and facilitators are made up of very senior level individuals drawn from the grant-making community (foundation, corporate and wealthy individual givers) each of whom brings the grant-maker's perspective to the process. All clients are provided with a comprehensive workbook, planning materials and a computer disk with useful tools for better managing their business. Benefits of the Institute experience include:
